KYC Policy

Identity Verification (KYC) Policy

Vipzino is committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant gaming environment for all customers. As part of that commitment, Vipzino operates a Know Your Customer (“KYC”) procedure to verify the identity of players and to help prevent fraud, money laundering, bonus abuse, identity theft, and other unlawful activity. KYC checks also support the protection of minors and help ensure that account activity remains consistent with our legal and regulatory obligations.

This KYC Policy explains why verification is required, which documents may be requested, when verification is triggered, how long the process can take, and how account access may be affected whilst checks are ongoing. By registering an account and using the services available at Vipzino, you acknowledge that you may be required to complete verification at any time.

Why We Require KYC Verification

KYC verification is an important part of Vipzino’s operational and security framework. We may require verification to confirm that the person opening and operating the account is the legitimate account holder and is eligible to use our services. Verification helps us to:

  • confirm identity and age;
  • protect against fraud and impersonation;
  • prevent money laundering and terrorist financing;
  • ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
  • support responsible gambling controls;
  • verify ownership of payment methods used for deposits and withdrawals;
  • investigate suspicious, unusual, or high-risk account activity.

KYC checks may be required at registration, during play, before a withdrawal, or after certain account activity has been identified. In some cases, we may also request additional information beyond standard identity documents if our compliance obligations require it.

When Verification Is Triggered

Vipzino may request KYC documents at any time, but verification is commonly triggered in the following situations:

  • when a customer registers an account and basic verification is required;
  • when a withdrawal is requested;
  • when cumulative deposits or withdrawals reach or exceed €2000;
  • when account details need to be updated or corrected;
  • when a payment method must be verified;
  • when suspicious activity or a mismatch in account information is detected;
  • when required by law, regulation, or a request from a competent authority.

The €2000 threshold is used as a verification trigger, but Vipzino reserves the right to request documents before or after that point where necessary.

Documents We May Request

To complete KYC verification, Vipzino may ask you to provide one or more of the following documents. All documents must be clear, valid, unedited, and fully legible.

Proof of Identity

  • Passport
  • National identity card
  • Other government-issued photo identification, where accepted by Vipzino

Proof of Address

  • Utility bill
  • Bank statement

Proof of address documents should generally be recent and show your full name and residential address. Where necessary, Vipzino may request an alternative document if the submitted document does not satisfy verification requirements.

Payment Method Verification

Where relevant, Vipzino may also request evidence that you are the rightful owner of the payment method used on the account. This may include supporting documentation relating to cards, bank accounts, or digital payment methods. Additional checks may be required if the payment method information does not match the registered account details.

Document Standards

When submitting documents to Vipzino, please ensure the following:

  • the document is current and not expired;
  • all edges of the document are visible;
  • the image is in colour where possible and not blurred;
  • the full name, date of birth, and document number are visible on identity documents;
  • the full name and address are visible on proof of address documents;
  • the document has not been cropped, altered, or obscured;
  • the details match the information held on your Vipzino account.

If a document is incomplete, unclear, or inconsistent with your account details, Vipzino may request a fresh copy or further evidence.

Verification Processing Times

Vipzino aims to review submitted KYC documents as quickly as possible. However, processing times may vary depending on the quality of the documents submitted, the volume of verification requests, the complexity of the account, and whether additional checks are needed.

In straightforward cases, verification may be completed relatively quickly. In other cases, especially where further review is required, the process may take longer. If more information is needed, the verification period will be extended until all requested documents and checks have been completed.

To help avoid delays, customers are encouraged to submit clear, accurate, and up-to-date documents as soon as they are requested.

Account Restrictions During Verification

Whilst verification is pending, Vipzino may apply temporary restrictions to your account. These restrictions are intended to ensure compliance and protect both the customer and the platform. Depending on the circumstances, restrictions may include:

  • holding withdrawal requests until verification is successfully completed;
  • limiting access to some account features;
  • freezing certain transactions until documents are reviewed;
  • requesting additional information before further play or cash-out activity is allowed.

Vipzino may also suspend or close an account if a customer fails to provide the required documentation, submits false or misleading information, or otherwise does not meet verification requirements.

Data Handling and Security

Vipzino treats KYC documents and personal data with strict confidentiality. Information submitted for verification purposes is handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and internal security controls. We use appropriate administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect submitted information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.

Where security-sensitive data is transmitted, Vipzino uses encryption and secure transmission methods designed to reduce the risk of interception. Access to KYC records is limited to authorised personnel and service providers who require it for verification, compliance, risk management, or support purposes.

KYC information may be retained for the period required by law, regulation, dispute handling, fraud prevention, audit obligations, and anti-money laundering controls. Once the retention period has expired, data is securely deleted or anonymised in line with applicable requirements.

Use of Third Parties

Vipzino may use trusted third-party verification providers, payment processors, fraud prevention tools, and compliance services to assist with identity checks and risk assessment. Where this occurs, those parties will only process personal data to the extent necessary for the relevant verification or compliance function and in accordance with applicable law and contractual safeguards.

Submission of KYC documents may therefore involve sharing information with specialist service providers operating on Vipzino’s behalf. This helps us complete checks efficiently and maintain the integrity of the platform.

Failure to Complete Verification

If you do not provide the requested KYC documents, if the documents cannot be verified, or if the information provided is inconsistent with your account details, Vipzino may be unable to permit withdrawals or may restrict the account. In serious cases, where verification cannot be completed or where suspicious conduct is identified, the account may be suspended or closed in accordance with our internal procedures and legal obligations.

Vipzino reserves the right to request further documentation or clarification at any time if additional checks are required. Providing accurate information from the outset is the best way to avoid delays.

Customer Responsibility

It is your responsibility to ensure that the personal details on your Vipzino account are accurate, complete, and kept up to date. If your name, address, or payment information changes, you should notify Vipzino and provide any supporting documents requested. You must also ensure that any documents submitted belong to you and are not forged, altered, or otherwise misleading.

Attempting to provide false information, using another person’s identity, or misrepresenting payment ownership may lead to immediate account restrictions, rejected withdrawals, forfeiture of funds where permitted by law, and notification to relevant authorities where required.

Data Retention and Record Keeping

Vipzino retains KYC records only for as long as necessary to meet legal, regulatory, accounting, audit, compliance, and dispute-resolution obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected. In some cases, records must be kept even after an account is closed to comply with statutory requirements or to support lawful investigations.

Where records are no longer required, Vipzino will take appropriate steps to securely delete, destroy, or anonymise them.
